 **The** [MTBA subway](https://www.mbta.com/schedules/subway) **is a primary mode of local ground transportation**, connecting areas like the Harvard campus, MIT campus, Boston Logan International Airport, and downtown Boston. **The** [MTBA bus system](https://www.mbta.com/schedules/bus) **and ride share apps** like Uber and Lyft are also means of local travel. The Harvard campus is also within walking distance to numerous restaurants, stores, hotels, and activities around Harvard Square and Cambridge.
